Journeys in Search of a Safe Haven

Graham Coster

Safe Haven was an accidental imprint.

After 14 years in book publishing came to an abrupt end, Graham Coster found there was nothing for it but to have a go himself, in the only way he knew.

That way had grown out of ten years writing features and travel pieces, searching out the left field, the things that had not been written about. It was an unusual, even unique way, however, to go about publishing books. And though initially the plan was for just one book, that led to another.

A decade later there are 25, and this very limited edition, the twenty-fifth, collects Graham’s favourites of those features and travel pieces. This was where, and how, a small publisher started out.
